Michael Dulin

Award-winning pianist, composer and producer. GRAMMY voting member. World traveler. Always learning.

Renowned for his masterful artistry and emotional depth, Michael Dulin is a pianist and composer whose music bridges the worlds of contemporary instrumental and classical genres. His compositions, marked by lush harmonies, intricate phrasing, and expressive dynamics, blend the sophistication of classical tradition with the fluidity of jazz improvisation. The result is a sound that is both profound and timeless — music that resonates with audiences across the globe.

Dulin’s extraordinary talent emerged at an early age. As a child prodigy, he astounded listeners by playing music by ear, effortlessly reproducing the pieces his older sister practiced. By the age of twelve, he performed Schumann’s Piano Concerto with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, a defining moment in his early career. His pursuit of excellence led him to the Juilliard School, where he studied under the legendary Adele Marcus, a mentor to some of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.

In 2003, Dulin released his debut album of original music, which soared to the top of global airplay charts for three consecutive months. Since then, his eight albums have captivated millions of listeners in 167 countries, with musicians worldwide performing his compositions—from Kentucky to Kazakhstan. His music has been featured on network television, documentary films, and international radio broadcasts, further cementing his place as a leading figure in contemporary instrumental music.

Dulin's live performances are nothing short of mesmerizing. He commands the stage as a solo artist, performing both his original works and classical masterworks, and as a featured soloist with orchestras, delivering powerful renditions of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Concerto in F, among others.

Accolades for his original compositions include two prestigious Lifestyle Achievement Awards for Best Solo Piano Album and Best Neo-Classical Album, as well as the EPR Solo Piano Album of the Year, presented at Carnegie Hall. His excellence in piano performance was further recognized with the Silver Medal in the Second New York Audio-Video Competition.

Beyond the stage and studio, Michael Dulin is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking and tennis in his free time. He and his wife, Jan, share their home with Drake, their beloved black Labrador.

With a career that seamlessly merges virtuosity, emotion, and innovation, Michael Dulin continues to inspire audiences worldwide—one unforgettable performance at a time.
